For nearly 40 years a succession of legendary chefs has enriched the culinary art of the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville in Crissier near Lausanne.
Beginning with Frédy Girardet who, by following in his father’s footsteps first brought renown to the establishment by becoming “Sacré Cuisiner du Siècle”. 10 years later he hands over the restaurant to Philippe Rochat who, in turn, goes on to obtain 3 Michelin Stars, bringing international fame to the restaurant.
Today it is the turn of Benoît Viollier to oversee the famous kitchens in Crissier, applying his style, knowledge and experience to the restaurant in Crissier that has become a legend.

A light and cosy atmosphere
The Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville has been completely refurbished. Two new dining rooms are elegant and refined with a slight touch of modernity.
Nature has inspired the decor. European wood such as Elm can be found throughout. Branches and foliage of hazel trees delicately lights the room thanks to an ingenious lighting system. This subtle light emphasizes the beige and soft tones that dominate the rooms. All the materials used are eco-friendly, respecting the environment.
The tableware is elegant “Raynaud” Limoges porcelain complimented by the famous Baccarat Crystal.
